Expencive it is but you get the full value of the money! Here are some feedback about the trip: Arrival at Billund Airport We took a taxi from the airport to Lalandia which costs us 120DK which seems a little excessive as the airport was only about 3 miles away from the resort.
The Danish and other close by country visitors had come by car, which was not the case for us :) So we got lucky! The water park, playground, outdoor activities, restaurants... Yes, there is a time-limit for all the activities (pm?
) but to be honest the kids had no more energy to continue anyway :) If you go to store forehand, buy your groceries then you have all the means to enjoy lovely evening at the house!
Excellent :)So I would definately go back there, it's just really safe, friendly, clean and modern environment. And we payed 2000 kroner pr night.................. We booked a 4 days trip to Billund and chose to stay at Lalandia because of the Aquadome and we were not disappointed.
So what you got was a rental house with EVERYTHING possibly needed for convenient holiday, except the sheets :) And towels.
If you bring them along, it's easy but rental was quite expencive. Yes, airport was very close and some complain about the fee of taxi.
Trying to find a great hotel in Billund to visit Legoland, was a challenge. We had 2 full days at the location and we had no idea what to expect...
So the result was following: Lalandia booking was very easy and convenient.
You can see the info about houses on the website, so it was simple. All prices etc was visible, maybe the only tricky part was payment which had to be done via bank-transfer and in two parts... But if you book from there, please be aware - you need to rent or bring along your own bed linens! We got extremely lucky and our house was in walking distance from all main attractions (water park and Legoland). But if I looked at the map, I suppose some where more then 500m away, even more. So if possible, maybe to request the customer service for closer house (if you have no transport of your own). It's possible to walk the distance but in my opinion you pay for the convenience and taking you, your family and luggage to the house, really is :) Nevertheless of the cost (in Denmark the price level is a bit higher then average).Anyway, what we also did not know was how huge the area actually is.
